“Wastewater is the only source of water that will increase as population and water use grow, nevertheless wastewater is a resource that is still heavily untapped in many parts of the region. This project is designed not only to address the challenges that limit water reuse but also to learn from the emerging success stories where recycled water is used for the creation of productive green belts, fuel production, fodder production for livestock, and irrigation of fruit trees or cash crops”.
